To top off a wonderful month;

* My brother (the one with the leg problem) is going in to the doctors because they think he might have Crohn's disease or possibly whatever it is my Mother has.
* The insurance assessor has only authorized the repair of the bonnet and bumper of the car, which is all well and good but there is a problem with the frame which is causing the car to drift heavily to the left. Of course we've gotten the worst assessor in the world and he's refusing to drive the car to check the problem so he's only seeing the superficial stuff. So now we're going to have to fight him just to get the car up and running.
* And the cherry on top, my Warcraft account (the one outlet I had left) has been hacked, again. Which means no Warcraft, for like a month.

I swear, walking in front of a speeding car is sounding more and more tempting.

I've been out of the anime loop for 2 or 3 years now and slowly getting back in. Except I'm immediately greeted by this new concept called "moe", I got an idea of what the term means. But can some one give me a few titles that clearly demonstrate this? And when did "moe" become so popular? (well, maybe not "popular", but it certainly didn't exist before I dropped off the face of the earth) I won't ask Why it's popular... somehow that question smells like doom.

An interesting question and because I have 20 minutes to sit quietly in the dark and I need to vent I shall answer;

It started roughly a few months ago, after girl #237 gave me the "Lets just be friends" line, my breathing started to deteriorate. Everyone immediately assumed it's cancer so I went to the doctor to have him basically say "I don't know". So, for the past month or so breathing has been a complete and utter pain in the ass, I've been forced to double and in some cases triple my asthma medication. For those that have never had breathing problems before, take a deep breath, hold it in and now take another breath without exhaling, that second breath is what it's like for me to breathe at the moment.

So, I'm barely breathing, now I have to go in and start work on a musical I signed up for before my health turned to shit (the musical turned out well and I'm glad I did it, but I honestly felt like I was dieing during parts of it). During this my Mothers health starts to get worse, it's got to the point that she can't even eat fruit because she can't digest it. The insurance company thats meant to pay her TPD claim is still dragging their feet and the lawyers we've hired are completely and utterly useless. So, the legal settlement that was meant to take 8 months is now in it's 2nd year, the money we did have is gone and we're essentially living off my paycheck. I'm perfectly happy to support my family, it's what you are meant to do in these situations, but it means my plans to buy a motorbike and move out are put on an indefinite hold.

I've taken up a second job back at my old radio station, in a crappier position and with less pay, just to make ends meet. On top of this my Father has gone completely batshit and is using me as some sort of negotiator with my Mother, because for some reason I have to be the grown-up for the two people that are 20-years older then me. So Daddy dearest has started divorce proceedings, which will be interesting because how do you take half of nothing? My late-Grandmothers will has been torn apart by the vultures that are her family and the tiny amount thats left for us is now being held by the bank for some unknown reason. My little brother is now seeing a shrink once a week, because for some reason he's losing it. My other brother needs surgery on his legs because of some muscle deformity, which long story short is going to take him months to recover from and to top it off my Sister is acting like a complete bitch on and off.

At this point I'm holding it all together, I'm getting through the day and I'm sleeping at least 5 hours a night. It's not perfect, it's not even good, but I can handle it. Then my Mother has a car accident. Not a major one, but the car is now out of commission, my little brother who was in the car with her is complaining of back issues (which I know he doesn't have, he just doesn't want to go to school, but because he's seeing a shrink I can't tell him off), my Mother appears to actually be hurt but she's refusing to see anyone about it and my sister is now the sole car owner in the family and has become the family taxi, so she's is now 10x more of a bitch but is completely within her right to be that way.

Now I'm not sleeping at all, my health which was getting better is now getting worse, I've actually got a wicked gray streak going through my hair, I'm sleeping 3-4 hours a night and it was the anniversary of Lyndsey's death (which with all the shit going on I almost forgot). Then there is the minor/petty things, I've obliterated my social life because a) money or b) time or c) I can barely breathe, my boss at work spends most of her day telling me how tough her life is when in reality it's a drop of piss in my ocean of urine, I turned down a chance to be the ninja in a friends film (I fucking love being the ninja), my cat appears to be dieing but I can't afford to take her to the vet and to top it off a friend pointed out that the newest girl that I was possibly interested in changed her facebook relationship status from "single".

So, the only way out I can see is if I'm hit by a car and die, which leaves my immediate family with a moderate amount of cash which will see them through to the end of the legal bout with the insurance company. Of course, with my luck I'll be hit by a car and survive but with massive injuries that prevent me from working. I'm sure there are other things I'm forgetting, but I honestly can't be fucked remembering anymore. I apologise for any spelling, grammar errors, but you know, fuck it.

Hello! I am new to this community but have loved the [original] Sims for years. I know this may or may not get asked every so often, but in going through some back-entries, nothing appeared to me, so here goes:

In my back and forth moves to college over the past several years, my original Sims software has gotten lost in the shuffle and I am devastated. I have 3 expansion packs (vacation), 2 never played (hot date and unleashed), that I am DYING to get into and play—only one problem: I am without the original SIMS software to install on my laptop. I have even tried sending the file where it was installed on my old computer to my current computer, but no such luck. It must be installed.

Is there ANYWHERE that I can get the original Sims? I know that some places carry “The Complete Collection”, but like many other people, I really just want the original. My boyfriend tells me, “just get sims2, it has better graphics,” etc…but I am set in my ways and love my originals.

At this point, it’s looking like I’m left with either a) buying the complete collection and having 3 expansion packs completely wasted/worthless, or b) conforming to Sims 2.

Any help on a reliable place to find the original would be amazing, but if there are reasons why Sims 2 is better, those might help too!! Sorry this was long-winded, thanks so much in advance – I am desperately seeking Sims!!!

OH YEAH! I also like really laid back/easy going characters...too tired to think up some at the moment...but I enjoy them as well..Onizuka is a laidback/easy going SWEETHEART!

Though in all honestly my FAVE anime characters HAVE to be (I've written lists on why I love Vash, and my love for Onizuka)

Can anyone help me make this thing stop screwing up on me? I've been trying to make wall paintings using the old Sims Art Studio download from the Maxis site. I know I can only use JPG and BMP files for it, but half the time when I try to open an image it won't load and I have to end program on it. I've tried resaving the images in smaller file sizes, thinking that maybe it just can't handle an images that's a few hundred thousand bytes in size, but that doesn't seem to help, either. Some images at about 50k will work fine, and others at about 50k will crash it.

Can anyone help me with this? I have more Sailor Moon images I want to make into paintings but the Art Studio just doesn't want to let me. :( Is there a user created program that's more reliable? Or is there a way to keep this one from crashing?
